Dedeman Develops With A New Concept: “Park” 30.02.2012

Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International, with its experience in hotel business, has created a new concept: Dedeman Park, taking business world’s trend in travel habits and demands into consideration. The Dedeman Park Hotel concept has been developed as a “select” service hotel, with a new design approach that offers comfortable and affordable hospitality for both corporate and leisure travelers.

Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International, having operations on the international market, again becomes the pioneer by creating Dedeman Park and being the first Turkish hotel brand that creates a second hotel chain. Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International growth targets include Middle East, Europe, Balkans, Russia, old Soviet Republics and Mediterranean countries that with which Turkey has historical, cultural and socio-economic ties.

Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International’s CEO Tamer Yürükoğlu evaluated the new concept during the press meeting and stated, “In recent years, there has been a shift in travel habits and preferences during business travels. The business world need to be both “time” and “cost” efficient at all times, and therefore, the business travels now last 1 ½ days. Due to their short term visits, our guests usually do not have the time to experience all the benefits of a five-star hotel but still pay for them. On the other hand, the business investments now outspread all around  Turkey parallel to the developing economy,  increase both the welfare and the number of travels these regions receive.  We developed the Dedeman Park concept by evaluating the shifting travel demands of the business world and the potential at the cities of Anatolia”.

The new concept Dedeman Park is based on “Traditional Dedeman Hospitality” just like all the other Dedeman Hotels. And again just like every other Dedeman Hotel, Dedeman Park’s priority is to host its guests base on its indispensable principles which are; hospitality, quality, consistency and reliability. Dedeman Park Hotels are innovative, comfortable, affordable and environment-friendly and every hotel offers its guest the same service standards.

Every detail diligently attended to

Dedeman Park Hotels differentiate from others with the simplicity and modern design, high-tech, environment-friendly features as well as the high quality select service from the non-required aspects.  Dedeman Park Hotels’ architectural plans are standardized in a way that all the hotels will have 100 – 150 guest rooms, high tech meeting rooms, business center, fitness center, restaurant serving Turkish breakfast, lunch and dinner, lobby bars and Bakk-Al services.

Dedeman Park Hotels will be environment friendly both in terms of building design and practice. Water and energy saving standards, staff education on sensibility towards the environment, and the diminution of harmful waste standards will be applied at all Dedeman Park Hotels. With all these features, Dedeman Park aims to receive an Environment Friendly Hotel Certificate from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Anti-allergic pillows and high quality textile products will be present at all Dedeman Park Hotel rooms, which will guarantee a good night sleep, and will offer everything that the guests may be in need of during their travel with the “Traditional Dedeman Hospitality“ such as; air conditioning, desk, direct telephone, wireless internet connection, tea and coffee, mini fridge, hair dryer, iron and board, satellite and movie channels and electronic safe box  large  enough for a lap top and fitted with a plug.

Dedeman Park Hotels will not have room service, however a small outlet called Bakk-Al that will serve 24/7. The guests will be able to purchase sandwiches, chocolates, desserts, snacks, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and personal care products.

The guests of Dedeman Park Hotels, which reflect the great harmony of Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International’s experience and knowledge, and the “Traditional Dedeman Hospitality”, will be able to choose the services that they need themselves, and by this way, the system will differentiate itself by being cost effective.  Dedeman Park guests will not compromise comfort, technology and service quality, and will also be able to benefit from Dedemoney and Dedeman Loyal Club loyalty programs.

The first Dedeman Park Hotel which will have 114 superior and 6 deluxe rooms will be opened in Denizli in March 2012. The hotel, which has the advantage of its nearby city center location, will host its guests with its restaurant, 3 meeting rooms and dividable ballroom with the capacity of 300. There will be in cooperation with Apeas Architecture and Structure Company, which is also the investor of the Dedeman Silk Road Tashkent, for the operation of Dedeman Park Denizli.  Apeas Company will be the partner of Dedeman Group to be the owner of 10 Dedeman Park Hotels which will be operating in 5 years.

Dedeman Park Hotels will not only develop in Turkey, it will also go into operation abroad. Initial models will be Dedeman Park Oskemen in Kazakhstan and Dedeman Park Izmailova Moscow in Russia. The agreement of Dedeman Park Oskemen is signed and the hotel with its 118 guest rooms will be opened in 2013.

Dedeman Park Izmailova Moscow’s operation agreement is also signed and the hotel which will have 110 guest rooms, is going to be open in 2014. And Dedeman Park will be the first Turkish Hotel chain in Russia.

As a growing strategy Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International is planning to reach 55 hotels by 2018. And 15 of these 55 hotels will be Dedeman Park Hotel.
