Karagöz Mahallesi Sadık Dai Sokak No: 16 Şahinbey / GaziantepGaziantep is a multicultural city that has been dominated by many civilizations in its thousands of years of history. This is the most important factor in the enrichment of Gaziantep cuisine. The meticulousness in the selection of the ingredients used in the preparation of the dishes and desserts, taught from the grandmother to the grandchildren with a meticulousness, the skill shown in the preparation and cooking, the spices, tomato paste, sauces and mixtures used in the preparation of the dishes have caused Gaziantep dishes and desserts to become famous and sought-after taste. Every dish in Antep cuisine has a different story. Gaziantep cuisine, each of which requires a separate delicacy and care, and which requires meticulous work to prepare, continues to live with effort and cooperation.

Stuffed stuffings carved by women in the neighborhoods to get ready for winter, colorful red and green dryness adorning the roofs of the houses, peppers carved together for completely organic homemade tomato paste, pickles in jars, and foods that are eaten together to relieve the tiredness of the work done by collaborative work. Lahmacuns are an indication that this cuisine lives with love, sharing and cooperation. When we look at such a broad framework, Gaziantep; It is the exact equivalent of the field of gastronomy, which examines the relationship between culture and food, and deals with all the processes from the field to the table.

Gaziantep got the title it deserves by being included in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of "Gastronomy" in 2016. It has managed to become the only cuisine in the world that is known by the name of the city with its hundreds of kinds of pot dishes, kebabs, registered baklava and all the flavors that leave a mark in the memories.

Emine Göğüş Culinary Museum, where the history of this cultural accumulation is told, is a museum visited with interest and curiosity by the guests coming to the city. Located in the south of Gaziantep Castle, Göğüş Mansion, built in 1904, has a historical texture and is also the house where Ali İhsan Göğüş, one of Turkey's first Ministers of Tourism and Promotion, was born. The mansion, which was restored by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, was put into service in 2008. Aiming to introduce Gaziantep culinary culture, the Emine Göğüş Culinary Museum is a museum where the tools and equipment used in Gaziantep cuisine are exhibited and local dishes that are about to be forgotten are exhibited as visuals. It also has the distinction of being the first culinary museum established in Turkey.

In the museum, the culinary culture is explained from the food materials in the Antep cuisine to the kitchen tools, from the local dishes to the drinks, from the cooking methods to the preparation and supplies. In addition to these, the construction of nesting, which is a holiday meal and special day meal, winter nights spent by the tandoor and coffee culture are explained using mannequins. In addition, there is a souvenir sales section in the museum that sells spices and copper products unique to Gaziantep.
