TCDD Museum

TCDD Eskişehir Museum is the railway museum located in the Tepebaşı town of Eskişehir. The museum is operated by the Republic of Turkey State Railways.

The works for the establishment of the museum, which is located at the Eskişehir Train Station, started in 1997 with the materials supplied from the TCDD 1st Regional Directorate and TÜLOMSAŞ, and it was opened to visitors in 1998. The items exhibited in this museum, which was opened in Eskişehir, a railway city, reveal the economic, social and cultural phases that the railways have provided to Turkey since its establishment. In the exhibition held in the museum, historical documents, publications and clothes are exhibited, as well as the tools and vehicles used in railway transportation and communication, from the telegraph machine to the locomotive, by keeping education in the foreground.
